This week we will continue working on your independent projects. By Thursday you should have a completed draft of your presentation. In addition, notes on your book source and your interview/survey will also be due. These can be submitted in your own format but each should include three specific pieces of information that you can and will use in your project. Use this handout as a guide to help you as you work on these assignments and plan your time. (The 2nd page is a timeline for the rest of the quarter.)

Use this handout to complete your notes on one additional source for your independent project. In addition, in class you should create 5 slides for your presentation in Powerpoint. Use this handout as a guide. Both assignments will be due at the end of class on Friday 4/15.
Print out two articles that you have bookmarked on your Diigo page. Read the articles and fill out this handout based on what you read. You will use this info as you begin designing and creating your presentation over the course of the next several weeks.
Research a topic that you would like to study that has to do with your program of study. Then fill out this info sheet (click here) to outline one main topic and three subtopics that you think you might want to study. Also consider and decide on a presentation/tech tool that you think you might want to use to build your project.
